The Federal Government has said it will now make COVID-19 vaccinations available to Christians in churches on Sundays.

The Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Faisal Shuaib said this on Tuesday while addressing Christian leaders on the second phase of COVID-19 vaccinations.

He noted that Nigerians are responding well to the vaccine as more people have been vaccinated in the last few weeks.

“I must say that feedback from the field is very encouraging and I sincerely thank all Christian leaders who have given the vaccination team access to their churches and their members to receive COVID-19 vaccine during Sunday service.” He said

Meanwhile, more measures are being taken by the Federal Government to ensure that more Nigerians are vaccinated to stop the spread of the virus.
