Joe Igbokwe Reacts After Six Nigerians Were Arrested In UAE For Allegedly Funding Boko Haram


The Senior Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor on Drainage and Water Resources, Joe Igbokwe has reacted a report alleging that six Nigerians has been arrested in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for funding Boko Haram insurgents in Nigeria.

The report revealed that the six were arrested for allegedly finding the dreaded insurgent group with the sum of $780.000, adding that the appealiate court upheld the conviction after loosing an earlier appeal to a lower court.
It was reported that the two suspent identified as Saraju Abubakar Muhammed and Salem Yusuf Adamu, has been senstenced to life imprisonment, while four others, Ibrahim Ali Alhassan, AbdurRahman Ado Musa, Bashir Ali Yusuf and Muhammed Ibrahim Musa, were sentenced to them years imprisonment.
Reacting to the development, Joe Igbokwe saying hat truth will eat us free. The APC Chieftain did not explain further what he meant by his statement, hence, it is unclear if he believes the report or not. It is also possible that Igbokwe was speaking in defense of numerous accusations levelled against the federal government that politicians are the ones sponsoring Boko Haram.
