A man identified has declared himself as the supposed successor of the late Prophet T. B. Joshua, founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations SCOAN), hours after the televangelist was laid to rest in his church at Ikotun Egbe, in Lagos.
The upcoming clergyman who spoke with the BBC Yoruba claimed to have had a vision of being in Lagos and engaging in a proper transition with the late Prophet, and also, to have received a covenant to continue from where he (T. B. Joshua) had stopped.
The man, Moses Awe, claimed to have seen the vision about T. B. Joshua’s death said he had also met with the late Prophet T. B. Joshua one on one in 2013.
During his encounter with the late man Of God, the man, Moses Awe said Prophet T. B. Joshua gave him a sum of N 9000.00 (Nine Thousand Naira) in a white envelope, something he also claimed was unusual for the late Prophet.
According to Mr. Awe, he told his disciples that the nine thousand Naira meant nine years after which he was to take over the ministry from the late man of God.
