Reno Omokri has taken to his social media page to reveal why major Nigerian General Overseers refused to attend the burial of the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, Late Prophet T.B. Joshua.
Late Prophet TB Joshua died on June 5 and was buried on Friday, July 9.
Ever since the burial of late TB Joshua took place on Friday, July 9, tons of comments have been made concerning Pastors who were not present in the burial.
Reno Omokri took to his verified Twitter account to reveal why major Nigerian General Overseers refused to attend Late prophet TB Joshua’s burial.
According to Reno, in religion, politics, or entertainment, people only attend the burial of those who they associate with while they lived.
Reno stated that if you are not in good terms with someone while alive, you shouldn’t attend his or her funeral, unless you are in good terms with the person while they lived.
In his words;
In religion, politics, or entertainment, people usually attend funerals of those the associated with while they lived. If you did not associate with someone while alive, and they also did not associate with you, it is hypocritical to go to their funeral.
Someone commented under this tweet of Mr Omokri that to love is a mandate but to relate is a choice, God commanded us to love one another but never instructed us to relate with everyone.
